Kathryn Karlic is president of institutional sales and marketing for GE Asset Management (GEAM), a global investment management firm wholly owned by the General Electric Company with $182 billion in assets. Previously she served as executive vice president and chief investment officer of GEAM Fixed Income. Karlic joined GEAM in 2002 from Citigroup Investments (formerly Travelers Insurance Company) where she spent 17 years of her 35-year financial services career. She is a member of the US Treasury Department’s Borrowing Advisory Committee, where she is one of 13 senior investment and banking leaders who present their observations on the overall strength of the US economy.
